This makes the contemporary technology not only practical, but also environmentally friendly because it conserves resources. The 3nine oil separators require minimal maintenance and therefore also reduce operating costs. The costs for replacing oil/cooling lubricants are saved completely, as all separated liquid is returned directly to the machine tool and reused.
3nine oil mist separators separate process air
The Swedish company 3nine has developed an alternative to traditional mechanical technologies where the oil mist is collected in filter media and the electrostatic units. 3nine oil mist separators, in contrast, separate the liquid particles from the process air, which therefore allows the cooling lubricants to be reused. In addition to clean air, the strong air flow of the 3nine oil mist separators ensures that the temperature in the machine tools remains constant, even when they are running around the clock. Particles larger than 1μm are separated from the air. All particles smaller than this are removed by 99.9 percent by the plate separation and the additional downstream HEPA filter. At the same time, the classic oil mist separators have a flow rate of 500 m³/h up to 2,500 m³/h. No other solution on the market offers such a high level of efficient cleaning as oil mist separators from 3nine.
Several patents
Disc separation was invented over 100 years ago. Based on this technology, 3nine began to develop the first oil and emulsion mist separators in 2001.
