Lubrication processes in metalworking should function smoothly, the workpieces should not overheat and fast further processing should be ensured. However, another essential point should be guaranteed in the meantime: The avoidance of waste. This is caused by lubricant residues, but also by waste water that accumulates during washing. These are particularly important when using lubricants containing oil, so that the workpieces can be further processed. This waste water cannot simply be discharged into the sewage system, but must be collected at great expense and disposed of as hazardous waste by a specialised company. This costs a lot of money and ties up resources. In addition, it significantly delays the production process.

Advantages when it comes to waste

The use of oil-free lubricants from LBI oil free results in several advantages for the user when it comes to waste: On the one hand, he can dispense with the time-consuming cleaning of workpieces and machines, thus saving time and money, and on the other hand, the work processes are also much more pleasant for the employee, as the products are skin-friendly and environmentally friendly. The dispensing systems are easy to handle, process-safe and economical, as they can drastically reduce lubricant consumption. The minimal consumption almost completely avoids the disposal of the lubricants, which saves further costs.

Waste water may be discharged into the sewage system

Oil-free lubricants and the corresponding dispensing systems are used for internal tube lubrication, surface wetting or minimum quantity cooling lubrication (MQL).

Die Mengen können selbst während des Betriebes einfach und genau dosiert werden und sind reproduzierbar. Das Rückstandsverhalten erlaubt es, das Werkstück ohne vorheriges Waschen zu schweißen oder zu lackieren (KTL). Werden noch höhere Sauberkeitsgrade gefordert, genügt eine Reinigung mit Wasser oder mit einem mild-alkalischem Reiniger. Diese Abwässer dürfen in die Kanalisation abgeführt werden.
