Even better lubrication when bending pipes

Tube bending is a high art. To optimise this process, LBI oil free and ALBROMET have optimised the shank of a mandrel. This allows the quantity and placement of the lubricants to be defined even better. The new mandrel has twelve lubrication holes instead of eight and a further four at the end of the shank. The respective holes are provided with a thread so that individual holes can be closed as required. Andrea Bäring, Managing Director of ALBROMET, and Markus Ehrgott, Sales Manager at LBI oil free, present the new articulated mandrel used to bend tubes with a diameter of 100 millimetres.
